Bollywood actor Kunal Khemu was born in Srinagar, Jammu to a Kashmiri Pandit couple, Ravi Khemu and Jyoti Khemu, both also actors. He grew up in Mumbai, where he attended where Narsee Monjee College. He started his career as a child actor by appearing in the television serial "Gul Gulshan Gulfam" in 1987. He made his debut as a leading man in the 2005 film Kalyug. His recent films have included Traffic Signal and Dhol (both 2007) and Super Star (2008).
